CLEAN

Using a white microfiber cloth, apply a leather cleaner made for handbags using a circular motion and wipe off with a slightly damp microfiber cloth. Do not leave cleaner on handbag to avoid clogging the pores of the hide. Applying a cleaner one or two times a year should keep your leather handbag clean. As for stains and dirt give your bag a brisk sweep with a soft dry cloth in the moment—this won't take more than a few minutes but will go miles towards preserving the appearance of your leather.    

Use a damp white microfiber cloth with a small amount of mild soap to clean Isle Miami bag interiors.

 

CONDITION

Think of conditioning as a moisturizer for your leather, which will dry out over time. To prevent flaking and wrinkling, dab a dollop of conditioner made for leather on a soft microfiber cloth and rub gently all over. You can try organic natural mink oil, which simulate and supplement the natural oils of leather.  Leave on for 10 minutes, then wipe off the excess and dry thoroughly. Condition every month or so to keep your leather looking its shiny best.

Using wax paper on exterior zippers can help keep your zippers smooth and easy to use. 

 

PROTECT

Leather is permeable and can never be entirely waterproof, so avoid toting your Isle Miami bags in bad weather. Nonetheless, using natural organic beeswax which function as a barrier against water. Please note beeswax may alter the hue of dyed leather, so test first on an inconspicuous corner if you choose to use.  

 

STORE

To maintain handbag shape- stash your bag in its original dust bag that arrives in your order and fill handbag interior with paper. Use paper without words or dyes for example never use newspaper, which will smear and can transfer letters to clear pockets in interior. Keep in a dry, cool, and well-ventilated area or box dust bagged product along with packets of silica gel so your bag doesn't get damp. If boxed air once every two weeks to halt the growth of mold. Rotation is essential, everyday use of any product can increase natural wear and tear, so switch things up every other month with new products coming soon.
